Background
This module aims to: explore, evaluate and build on the existing theory and practice associated with environmental pollution and management; analyse and evaluate the impact on the environment of industrial and commercial activities; identify and explore various environmental pollution management strategies and consider the factors that will determine the most appropriate; be familiar with the concept of environmental management systems and be able to select and implement an appropriate system within an organization.
